Machines equipped with JDLink wireless technology are permanently ‘online’ and can be monitored remotely
via the internet on a computer, tablet or smartphone. This provides data on the machine’s location,
instrumentation and control systems including attachments.
With your permission your dealer can pro-actively diagnose and optimise machines, assist operators, coordinate fleets and use field data for better agronomic analysis.

There’s a choice of service packages: Uptime, Performance, Logistics and Agronomics. The exact contents and pricing of individual packages will vary from dealer to dealer.
As part of the growing Precision Farming sector we are introducing support packages to assist you and your equipment. These have been designed to ensure you get the support you require, when you require it. The services have been separated into three annual packages, which are detailed below.
With the purchase of new Precision Farming Equipment we offer the Standard Support package free of charge for the first 12 months of ownership.
Each package is limited to a total of 2 kits, anything over that will require an additional Standard Support package.
A ‘kit’ is a combination of a John Deere AMS equipment.
Display = (Light-bar , 1800,2600, 2630 & GS3 Command Centre and new 4100 and 4600 Gen 4 displays )
Receiver = (300, ITC & 3000).
When signing up for a package the Serial Number of the Display and Receiver will be required.
By signing up for a FarmSight package you agree to a support contract for a period of 12 months, you can upgrade at any time on a pro-rata basis. If you would like more than 3 kits to be covered by one agreement then an additional Standard Support agreement will need to be taken out.
The two software updates per year are subject to coincide with John Deere Ltd & Stellar Support releasing updates. The Pre-season refresher course that is included in the ‘premium plus’ level of support is limited to a total of three attendees per package, an extra charge will apply for any additional participants.
When purchasing a new Precision Farming component, Premium Support is included for the first year. This only applies to the new item of Precision Farming equipment and does not extend to any other Precision Farming components owned.
If no support contract is undertaken support costs are as follows; 80 euro per hour for telephone, email and on-farm support with a minimum charge of 25 euro for phone calls and emails under 15 minutes. A support call or email is considered to be when specialist advice or knowledge is sought. These will be invoiced in the same manner as workshop jobs reporting exactly what has been discussed and or undertaken by our specialists.
On-farm support will cover diagnostics of Precision Farming equipment via one of our Precision Farming Specialists. However it does not cover a technician from the service department to diagnose and or calibrate, adjust or repair components that are factory fitted such as wheel angle sensors etc.
